When you arrive in Germany you will be picked up by our integration assistants. They are at your side, especially in the first few days: they give you your room, show you your surroundings and accompany you when you go to the authorities. During your voluntary service you will be supported by an instructor.
You will gain valuable experience abroad, get to know German culture, the people and everyday life. You can also improve your German skills in our language course.
No matter which area of work you choose, one thing is clear: you will be active and do something good for other people. In kindergarden, at school, working with young people, people with disabilities or in elderly care – your support makes a big difference in the lives of others.
With an FSJ, you get to know different professional fields up close – you are part of it, work in a very practical way and can form your own opinion. And who knows, maybe you will find your dream job.
During your voluntary year in Germany, you not only get accommodation and food provided (or financed), but also pocket money of at least 370 € per month. You also have health, accident and liability insurance.
